The Ada County Sheriff's department is located in Boise, Idaho. The county jail can hold up to 1,217 inmates. The jail holds both male and female inmates.
A fascinating page to look at on their website is the Crime Map page. There is a list of 12 different criminal categories on the right side of the page. Check the box(es) and you can see where in the county these offenses occurred. The map shows the crimes committed in the area for the past three months. Each crime category is color coded so you readily compare as you check multiple boxes.
