How You Can Find Washington Inmates

At the end of June, 2009, there were a little over 19,000 Washington inmates in the system. Click to the Find an Offender page. Enter either a last name or a DOC number in the blank space and click 'Submit'. You get very little information online; only the DOC number, full name and location of the inmate.

To get additional info, you must call by phone 8-5, Monday-Friday.
  • In-state offenders: (360) 725-8213
  • Out-of-state offenders: (360) 725-8900
Here is a list of what they can give you over the phone:
  • Name
  • Age
  • County jail credit time
  • Date of birth
  • Date of commitment/release
  • Supervision conditions
  • Date of conditional discharge from supervision
  • Date of execution
  • DOC number

  • Fines imposed (legal financial obligation)
  • Good time

Washington Department of Corrections

Family and friends have lots of questions when a loved one is incarcerated. I gave gathered on one page the answers to the most commonly asked questions. Click to the Washington DOC page to get info on mail, phones, visiting and facilities.

Washington Most Wanted

The Washington State Corrections folks publish on their web site a list of the most wanted serious and violent offenders. You can access it at the Washington DOC Most Wanted Page.
