The website also gives you information on how, through the ConnectNetwork, you can set up prepaid phone accounts, deposit money to an inmate's phone account, send an e-message to an inmate (which is cheaper than stamps!) and also how to deposit funds an inmate can use for other than phone services.
There are two services that you can sign up for to keep track of incarcerated inmates. One is the VINELink site. Go to www.vinelink.com. It is the country's number one victim notification service. Indiana also has their own service which is the Indiana Savin program. It can be found at www.indianasavin.in.gov. That stands for "Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification. All registrations are kept strictly confidential.
There is a new online search capability on their site. You can search by case number, party name or attorney name. You can search for criminal, civil, family courts and others. You can read information on each case as to the parties involved, the charges as well as a chronological case summary.
